6th Anniversary of the death of Hank The Tank Francis
Remembering Dad August 31, 2010 : 6th Anniversary of Dad's Death This morning hit hard even though my dad has been gone for a while! These were my last moments with my father....He passed away an hour from now six years ago today. He was not a perfect man but he had a heart the size of an ocean and the silence of his laugh now is deafening! Please hold tight to what's important! Dad and I had a troubled relationship at times...but I would give everything I own, drain my bank account, stop everything I was doing right now that seems so important just to get five more minutes with him sitting on the back porch just being in the same space together again! Here's to the man with the freckled hands! May his light burn bright in the hearts of those of us who were touched by his giant bear hugs! ~matt francis
