Cookie Cutter Death we live in a cookie cutter home with cookie cutter trees and a cookie cutter lawn filled with cookie cutter leaves we walk a cookie cutter sidewalk   to   our cookie cutter drive with a cookie cutter job that shades what it means to be alive no promise for tomorrow yet today is spent in dream about a life not yet achieved   and a past that makes us scream yet our maker is ever calling in our cookie cutter days with a promise based in purpose in his super natural way though i know i don’t deserve it with my cookie cutter pride i surrender to the simple thought that in Christ i can abide .... matt francis

Are you a human "being?" Or A Human "Doing?" There is nothing we can "do" to get God to desire a relationship with him more!  We just have to accept what has already been done!  He desires to be with us regardless of "doing good deeds!" Are we human doing or are we human beings?   IMPORTANT TO NOTE: Self discipline is a fruit of the spirit.  So often we think we have to do "self discipline" on our own... However, it can be a fruit of abiding in Christ if we just learn to lean on him!  

Last Impressions  if i die before i wake i'll hold your hand for old time sake i'll kiss the ground salute the sun cling to ash till eternity comes we're on a role in this fish bowl fed by the lie that we have control and yet I wake i reach i scream as if my life could mean a thing so where does it end nobody knows the lie that we feed is the thought that takes hold yet who is he  who hears our cry takes hold of our hurt and dissolves the lie seems he is me without all the shame despite my mistakes he still calls my name purpose is there i reap what i eat fine wine on the vine or crumbs off the street this is the day the now of my skin the moment where choice could save me again he is the vine we are vignettes  inside of his grace there are no regrets ... matt francis
